From San Francisco - We are a short 20 minute drive from San Francisco. Take Highway 101 North to the Central San Rafael exit. As you take the exit get in to the the far right hand lane. After exiting take the very first right hand turn on to Second street. Continue on Second Street by staying the left lanes. Second Street turns in to Third street so just continue on past the large shopping Mall (Montecito Mall) that has Trader Joes and Performance Bicycle. Continue straight as we are about 1500 feet past the shopping mall on the right hand side of the road. Our address is 115 Third St., San Rafael 94901.
From the North - Take Highway 101 South to the Central San Rafael exit. Stay in the left lanes and proceed straight almost as though you were going to get back on the freeway. Take the last left hand turn, just before the highway 101 re-entry ramp, on to Second Street. Continue on Second Street by staying the left lanes. Second Street turns in to Third street so just continue on past the large shopping Mall (Montecito Mall) that has Trader Joes and Performance Bicycles. Continue straight as we are about 1500 feet past the shopping mall on the right hand side of the road. Our address is 115 Third St., San Rafael 94901.
From The East Bay - Take the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge West. Follow the signs to Highway 101 North. Get on Highway 101 North but stay in the right hand lanes never actually getting on the main part of the Highway. Then take the Central San Rafael exit staying in the far right lanes. After exiting take the very first right hand turn on to Second street. Continue on Second Street by staying the left lanes. Second Street turns in to Third street so just continue on past the large shopping Mall (Montecito Mall) that has Trader Joes and Performance Bicycles - Whole Foods Market will be on your left. Parking
Please do not park in front of the WESTERN BOAT Shop directly past our shop. There is plenty parking on the street, in our lot, and at our nearby overflow lots. Parking in the San Rafael High School lot is probably the easiest and is just across the street from the shop. Please review the diagram at right below for more information on parking.
