Ride The Tide Paddling Adventure

With Whole Foods Market San Rafael once again setting the table it will be an event to remember. The day will start at Fort Baker in Sausalito just iunder the Golden Gate Bredge.  We will provide all logistical support for ensuring you and your boards transportation needs are taken care of. The day will start with a 9:30am skippers meeting. You MUST ATTEND THE SKIPPERS MEETING if you want to go on the paddle. At 10am we will send off our Cruising Class who will also have a 101 Employee with them to act as a guide as you make your way 13 miles down San Francisco Bay to the 101 Surf Sports shop in San Rafael. At 11am we send the racing fleet. The entire event will be supported by on the water safety personnel and a boat.

Your Journey will be assisted by a 3 knot flood tide that will be pushing nearly the whole way. With that said you can still expect to be on the water for 3.5 to 4 hours. You can also expect a few patches of pretty rough water along the way with this kind of tide.  We did test paddles of our journey and completed the course in just over 2.5 hours.  Given the the nature of the trip we are only inviting experienced paddlers to participate and we are limiting the number of entrants to ensure a safe trip for all. If you are an experienced paddler looking for an adventure here it is. Book your spot now using the BOOK NOW Button Below.
