The windsports community mourns the loss of one of its humble yet hardcore watermen, a dedicated athlete who was often seen at Crissy Field Kite Foiling, racing alongside his friends. On a somber Sunday, October 1st, 2023, Felix Louis N’jai tragically vanished in an apparent shark attack while swimming at Wildcat Beach in Point Reyes National Seashore.

Felix Louis N’jai was diligently preparing for Kiteboarding to make its debut in the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, representing the nation of Gambia as an aspiring athlete for their Olympic Team.

His vitality and warmth will be deeply missed, leaving an indelible void in our hearts. "Salaam aleikum," which translates to "peace be upon you."
