Free Kayak Demo Day in Marin County San Rafael at 101 Surf Sports
Thinking of buying a new Kayak? 101 Surf Sports in conjunction with Necky Kayaks and Ocean kayaks, will be hosting a FREE demo of the latest and greatest of their 2012 Kayaks at 101 Surf Sports at their 115 3rd Street San Rafael location on June 30th.
The Marin County Kayaking demo day starts promptly at 9:30am and wraps up at 2:30pm on Saturday June 30th. During the event we will have a special offer for anyone purchaing a boat. 10% off all accessories with the purchase of the boats. Looking to Kayak on your local lake or San Francisco Bay then the demo day is one of the best ways to find the right boat.
During the demo day board rides will be limited to 10-15 minutes per boat on a first come first serve basis. All demo activities are free from charge. If you have never Kayaked before that's no problem. While we can't give you a full lesson we will give you the basic lesson to get you paddling for only $10.
Demo Logistics - Sunscreen and Hats are recommended. Please avoid Cotton attire as its not good on the water. Synthetic fibers like Polyester are ideal. Things like biking clothes, yoga pants, and/or rash guards make for the best on the water wear. All Boats, Paddles, and Life Jackets will be provided. Bring plenty of water to drink.

Parking - Please do not park in front of the WESTERN BOAT Shop directly past our shop. There is plenty parking on the street, in our lot, and at our nearby overlow lots.
