Come party with us to celebrate my ten year anniversary of learning the words mantle cell lymphoma and that I had it, and raise a paddle/glass to the advancements in treatments that have allowed me and so many others to thrive after diagnosis. It’s going to be an off the hook Octoberfest/Halloween event. We expect to see people in lederhosen and wearing all forms of Halloween attire, any and all Elvis impersonators please register early. All proceeds from the event will be used to fight cancer as we are raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Stock up on holiday wines, and peruse the array of silent and live auction items. The food will be the best ever served at any 101 Surf Sports race with Chef Jen (Trinchero Family Estates) Contreras and Chef Tom (Cakebread Cellars) Sixsmith preparing a mind blowing feast for the racers and spectators. I literally owe my life to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and to UCSF where I was treated. Without their tireless efforts and continued quest to find a cure and to improve the quality of life I wouldn’t be here and I certainly wouldn’t be thriving like I am. We urge you to enter and register for the race and get started raising funds for LLS. Last year we raised $45.000 and this year we hope to raise more.

When you put together this much with the spirit of doing good for our community you know we have one special day on tap.
