San Francisco Giants Paddleboard Race Team Season 9 Reporting For Duty
Our 9th season of Stand Up Paddleboard Racing with the San Franciso Giants is ready to kick off!
Time flies when you are having fun and its amazing to think that we have been doing this for 8 consecutive years. But fun we are having, and you can join in too. We have 4 open spots on the team for four of our remaining races.
If you had not seen our act before you should know priority one is making sure the fans are having a great time at the park. We race in the middle of the first inning and the race is broadcast live on the Jumbotron. If you have never hard 20,000 people cheering you while you paddle this may be your only chance. We warn you ahead of time the folks like carnage and we give it to them.
The Monterey Bay Aquarium sponsors the show and We couldn’t be more stoked to work with them. .
This is not for beginner paddlers. Paddling in these costumes can bevery difficult with limited sight lines and heavy wind-age it takes a intermediate paddler just to pull it off. With that said all team racers get 2 free tickets to the game and complimentary parking. All races go off in the middle of the first inning and you must be McCovey cove by 6:45pm at the latest and you are usually in your seat watching the game by 7:45. We have 4 upcoming dates.....
