Full Moon and Starlight Paddle Tours On San Francisco Bay
Paddling under the light of a full moon has got to be one of your bucket list items. We'll throw in a meteor shower and a super moon and you'll have some experiences you will never forget.
We have done our homework and scrubbed the calendar hard looking for the best celestial paddling the upcoming season has to offer. It takes a lot of variables to line up just right to make these special night paddles happen. While we wish mother nature would send a couple weekends our way this years event just happen to line up on weekdays.
Paddling at night requires specialized apparel. Obviously with no sun about temps are much colder and so we highly advise everyone dress appropriately. Capilene, Polyolophin, Synchilla and other warm synthetic fibers are the call. Fleece apparel is great as long as its synthetic.
If you need to gear-up we are happy to help. All those who sign up for any of our events can purchase anything in the store for 15% off the day of the event. Please show up early to shop. Wetsuits are not a bad idea and what a great way to get a deal on one.
These are not the best events for first time paddleboarders. If you have never paddleboarded please consider using a kayak. We do not have the normal time to help teach you how to paddle at these events.
If you have your own board the fee is $10 to paddle with us. This includes the apres paddle scene, lights, and tour guides.
If you need to rent a board or boat the cost of this event is $40 per person. You can choose paddleboard, double kayak, or single kayak.
Please sign up online ahead of time. These events sell out and we usually can not handle any sign ups the day of the event.
