Rain Or Shine We Are On The Line;

The weather was so good we even saw that glowing orb in the sky. We forget what you call it as it’s been so long since we have seen it. A big part of our racing ethos has always been rain or shine we’’ll see you on the line. We just tend to prefer the shine.

We set up for our normal box courses but pulled the starting line in to the West Point Harbor. That added about .8 miles to the normal routes. With south winds blowing and ebb tides flowing the racers blistered the first half of the course. A building 5-10mph south wind on top of a nice 1.5 knot ebb made the trip home the deciding point on the day’s winners.

The apres’ race scene was a bit of a rush to choke down as much Pizza and Beer before the next storm started doing its thing. Thanks once again to our partners Hint Water, The Fruit Guys, Kind Bar, 101 North Brewing, Mamie’s Pies, and Three Twins ice cream. Remember to show your thanks next time you are in the grocery store, and support the businesses that support our sport.
