Gorgeous Night For A Stand Up Paddle Under The Moonlight Of San Francisco Bay

Wow - what a night! This past Monday we took the waters to partake in the biggest Super Moon in the past 50 years! By Kayak and by Stand Up Paddleboard over 30 of paddlers enjoyed an incredible evening on the water.

With the moon making its closest pass to the earth we were treated to some spectacular views of our nearest neighbor. With La Nina making her presence felt it was a still, warm evening on San Francisco Bay.

While wetsuits or other cold water apparel is normally the call quite a few paddlers were out in their board shorts and were still too warm! One of the hidden secrets of night paddling is there is almost never any wind.

We have 2 more San Francisco Bay Moonlight paddles set up on our calendar. We will be adding more as we are able to staff them and you can look forward to some Moonless Tours, and some Starlight tours as well.
