Ever paddle under a Beaver Moon? Well here is your big chance as 101 Surf Sports rolls out 4 new Stand Up Paddleboard Tours for winter paddling on San Francisco Bay.
While it may be a bit cooler paddling is actually better in the winter time. Mirror like water conditions that are unheard of in San Francisco Bay's normal summer conditions are quite normal all fall and winter long. While we do recommend some more robust apparel it's nothing you probably don't have in your closet already.

The best attire is based on synthetics Nylon, Spandex, Polyester. And for these trips one may consider a layer of Neorprene - aka wetsuits. 1 to 2 milimeters should get the job done. Light neoprenen booties for the feet may also be a good call ; particularly for Novembers Beaver Moon Paddleboard Tour. Long synthetic leggings - running, biking, yoga along with a synthetic fleece top are good. Perhaps a lightweight shell and a beanie if you run on the colder side.
