Come Race & Meet The Fastest Paddler In The World

We are stoked to welcome Trevor Tunnington to the shop this Thursday September 17th and in his honor we are going to throw some impromptu sprint racing.

Tunnington, a Starboard Stand Up Paddleboarding Team Rider, recently set the world record for Stand Up Paddle sprinting at the Lost Mills Paddle race. At only 18 years of age you are sure to be hearing more from Trevor in the future.

Trevor, pictured at right, will be coming to 101 Surf Sports this Thursday and we used this as an excuse to do some fun, free, sprint racing. Here's how it will go down. First we will have a little meet and greet starting at 5pm here at the shop. At 6pm we will take it to the water to run some 200 meter sprint races. There is no charge to race and all registration will be done that night at the shop. After racing we'll crack some beers and have some apres paddle relaxation time. No need to RSVP just come on down and bring your A game because it just may be possible you are the fastest paddler on earth and this is your chance to find out. The racing will be fun low pressure action so we hope to see you Thursday evening.
