Surfski's racing around the Marin Islands

Bright Blue skies and balmy 65 degrees air temps made today’s race feel more like a Southern California affair. While it’s pretty clear at this point that climate change is real all we can do in the short term is make the best of it. 60 days of no rain in the dead of winter is definitely more than a wakeup call but we definitely made some lemonade out of the situation. Our first demo day in over 2 years! We could not be more stoked to see how this spring and summer season is lining up for paddling. Of course, the lack of rain means yet another year of drought. If we can shower in the water, we can at least go for a paddle.

It's been almost 2 years since our last Swap meet. Technically "Swapping" is exactly what the CDC has been asking us not to do. With that said, and given the science of it all, we think it looks safe to Swap once again.

Rivers for Change in Action!

We have had many issues thrown at us in trying to get races off in the past decade and have always tried to live up to our motto “Rain or shine we are on the starting line”.
